 Wilson offers engineering design and consulting support for onshore pipeline projects.  Our broad experience enables us to perform the engineering design, surveying, layout, mapping, construction management, procurement and inspection for pipeline projects, compressor stations, pump stations, liquid handling and ancillary structures and buildings.   Mapping and feasibility studies are also part of our pipeline consulting services. 

On existing pipelines our consultants have performed structural surveys, leak monitoring, and visual inspections.  We have performed these in both remote areas and in densely populated urban areas.  We can quickly map a pipeline using GPS survey equipment and locate potential leaks.   We have also performed cleanups from leaks, spills, random damage and vandalism on both pipelines and remote transmission facilities.

Our engineering staff have designed and installed Grass Roots compressor stations at several locations.  One project consisted of three 4,000 HP Ingersal Rand compressors.   The project included site planning, layout, design of reinforced concrete foundations for vibratory loadings, design of buildings, design of roadway to the compressor station, drainage and utilities.

Changes in pipeline duty often require operating conditions that are different from the design conditions.  Wilson can help you assess the new applied loading and integrity to evaluate the change in risk and determine if the existing pipeline is suitable.
